In addition to art shows and awards in my youth I started doing abstract painting in the winter of 2002 and had my first show in June 2007 at Cedars jazz club. My work was well received and I sold nine pieces. In August 2003 I created, donated and sold a piece for the Colorado AIDS Project silent auction. My second show in October 2007 at the Pikes Peak Community College Downtown gallery in Colorado Springs CO, I shared with two sculptors (Don & Maxine Green). I sold two pieces. I also took part in Monument CO 2007 Art Hop. In Spring 2008 I had eighteen pieces hung at The Phantom Canyon Brewery, one piece that hung at Suga’s café/bar and one piece that hung in The Warehouse Restaurant in downtown Colorado Springs. Summer 2008 I had twenty pieces hanging at The Plantera Group (located on the corner of Weber & Dale in Colorado Springs CO) for two months. Winter 2008 I had ten pieces hanging at the Pikes Peak Center which I helped organize, it hung until January 5th 2009. I have shown at the Stones, Bones and Wood gallery in Green Mountain Falls CO, and sold five pieces. I have also shown at Nirvana Gallery, the Mountain Living Studio and Luma Gallery in Old Colorado City CO. In March of 2009 I showed at the Fire Side Gallery in Colorado Springs CO and in May 2009 was featured in the Sunny Vista’s annual art show in Colorado Springs CO. July 2009 I had a 30 piece show titled "Sound and Vision" at the Business of Arts Center Grand Hallway venue in Manitou Springs CO and sold 6 pieces. I became a member of the Colorado Springs Art Guild in 2010. In addition, I have also mentored a couple young artist and in August of 2009 worked with the children of military families at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs CO. June 2011 I created, donated and sold a piece made out of Bras for the Dana Farber Foundations Bras for the Cause silent auction in Brookline MA.  In June 2012 I showed my work at the Gallery on the Plaza in Brookline MA and sold one piece. Since moving to Portland Oregon in August of 2015 I have had two pieces shown at the Splendorporium gallery's King and Queen show in March 2016 and two pieces in their Flora and Fauna show in April. Also in April 2016 I entered the Sasquatch-themed show at the Arbor Lodge and placed fourth. In August 2016 I had a one man show at Portland Best Buds Wall gallery and sold three pieces. In December 2016 I shared a show with Lisa Miller at the PBB Wall gallery. In May of 2017 I was commissioned to do a hanging sign for Champs Barber Shop in St Johns, Portland OR. In August of 2017 I was commissioned to paint a pair of custom shoes for the bride of a vintage circus-themed wedding. In March 2018 I took part in the St Johns Art Walk displaying at the Wayfinding Academy. In march of 2019 I took place in the St Johns Art Walk displaying at The Salty Teacup. I currently have work hanging at The Salty Teacup in St Johns OR and at two Synergy locations in Colorado Springs, CO and in private collector homes around the world including New Zealand, Norway and England.
